So this Thanksgiving was my first major holiday away from home (my mother told me not to come home). It was such a good day! I ended up making the rolls and for me being a terrible cook, they turned out very yummy!!! Kiersten did an amazing job on the turkey! It was so delicious! Thanksgiving definitely needs to be more than once a year. So I was asked to tell some of the funny stories from work. Some of them consist of all the gossip I hear. In the first week a guy cheated on his girlfriend, someones brother is gay, the mayor quit and told everyone to go to a nice little place that starts with an "H", 3 or 4 got DUI's and one person went to prison. But the funniest thing that happened involved a 4 year old little boy. Jeremy and his mom came in so Jeremy could get his haircut and his mom could get her nails done. I finished cutting the littles boys hair before his mom's nails were done. During that time we were decorating for Christmas and were wrapping empty boxes to look like presents. I started to wrap some more, Jeremy drifted over to see what I was doing. I pointed out that it was a fake present and there was nothing in the box. The next thing I know Jeremy is straddled over the box ripping it open. Paper was flying everywhere! Literally it looked like a tornado was going through our shoppe. Once the wrapping paper was off he tore open the box, stuck his whole head inside and looked for something. When he realized there was nothing inside he through the box down and went for the next one. By that point his mom was telling him she it going to kick his butt if he didn't go sit by her. He obeyed and sat down. I cleaned up the mess, put it in the pile with the rest of the trash and continued to wrap presents. I got up to get something and all the presents and trash were in one pile, all of the sudden I see Jeremy jump off his chair, run, slide onto his knees through all the presents and trash. Again paper and presents went everywhere!!! I am not exaggerating, EVERYWHERE. I could not stop laughing. His mom wanted to kill him. Oh and I have cut another mullet. We also had no water last Tuesday and Wednesday. It's difficult to do hair when you have no water. I would also like to point out one more thing. You have all heard Salt Lake gets the pretty sister missionaries, well Pocatello mission gets the hottest elders. I met 2 last week and dang I was impressed!!! If I would have known that before, it wouldn't have taken me so long to get up here!

You need to send me your email address so I can send you an invite for our blog, since we are some of those paranoid people who want to know that only the people we love are looking at our blog! Kiersten should have our email address!
Thanks!
Rachel
P.S. Very cute blog! And if you're working in St. Anthony, I'm sure you will never run out of things to write about! Even without the husband and kids!

That was a great story. When are you coming down for christmas, I would like to see you and I need my hair done again, are you sick of doing it? Those dang prenatal pills are making my hair grow so fast. How are the boys up there. The missionaries are off limits!!! You know that right? Love you!
